Role Overview
We are seeking a hands-on Software Engineer to leverage AI-assisted development for building high-quality, scalable cloud applications. The ideal candidate is an early-career engineer passionate about using modern AI tools to accelerate software development, improve code quality, and increase engineering productivity. This individual is a self-starter who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and delivering secure, scalable solutions in AWS.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design, development, and deployment of AI and machine learning solutions under the guidance of senior team members.
- Develop, test, and maintain ML models and AI-driven features.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to deliver solutions.
- Utilize AI tools as an integral part of the software development lifecycle to improve productivity.
- Design and deploy applications in AWS.
- Participate in code reviews and debug issues to ensure software quality.
Required Qualifications
Education: A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience is required.
Experience: This role requires 2+ years of professional software development experience, including exposure to agentic and generative AI systems.
Technical Skills:- Demonstrated experience using AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Amazon Q, ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, Windsurf, or similar.
- Experience developing with one or more of the following languages: Java, Go (Golang), or JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Proficiency with Python.
- Experience with data structures, algorithms, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience designing and deploying applications in AWS.
Preferred Qualifications
- A self-starter with the ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A demonstrated curiosity and willingness to continuously learn new technologies and engineering practices.
