Government ERP UAT Lead / Manager (CGI Advantage 4.0)

Role Summary
We are seeking a Government ERP UAT Lead / Manager to support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for a CGI Advantage 4.0 financial ERP implementation. The role will oversee UAT planning, execution, defect governance, and validation of financial, procurement, and reporting processes in a public-sector environment.

This role may involve leadership of UAT teams, coordination with business SMEs and vendors, and hands-on testing across financial modules.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support end-to-end UAT activities for CGI Advantage 4.0 ERP.

• Develop and manage UAT strategy, plans, schedules, and entry/exit criteria.

• Coordinate testing across financial modules including:

  • General Ledger & Financial Reporting

  • Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable & Cash Management

  • Procurement (Requisitions, POs, Receiving)

  • Fixed Assets, Grants, Capital Projects

  • Treasury, Debt & Investment

  • Budgeting, Travel, Inventory

• Manage and support UAT execution, test cycles, and defect triage.

• Oversee defect tracking, severity definitions, retesting, and closure.

• Ensure test evidence, documentation, and audit artifacts meet public-sector compliance standards.

• Support data conversion testing, reconciliation, and validation.

• Validate financial controls, audit trails, and reporting accuracy.

• Prepare weekly status reports, risk logs, and UAT summary reports.

• Support go-live readiness and final UAT sign-off.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in ERP UAT / QA / Functional Testing / Test Management.

• Experience with government or public-sector financial systems.

• Strong knowledge of financial ERP modules (GL, AP, AR, Procurement, Assets, Budget).

• Experience managing or participating in UAT execution and defect management.

• Strong documentation and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with CGI Advantage ERP (strongly preferred).

• Experience on state, county, or municipal ERP implementations.

• Knowledge of governmental accounting and reporting standards.

• PMP, PRINCE2, or QA/Test Management certifications preferred.
