My client is seeking a Senior Project Manager with PMP certification, 10+ years of project management experience, 10+ years using Microsoft Project, and experience managing at least 3 IT projects valued at $10M+ with PAL approval.
Bachelor’s-level degree from a recognized college or university. A recognized college or university is defined as an institution of higher learning approved by the Office of Higher Education of any given state or a foreign college or university of comparable standing. Alternatively, qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
DQ 1 Desirable Qualification
Master’s degree or doctorate from a recognized college or university. A recognized college or university is defined as an institution of higher learning approved by the Office of Higher Education of any given state or a foreign college or university of comparable standing. Alternatively, additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
MQ 2 Minimum Qualification
Ten (10) years of broad, extensive, and increasingly responsible experience applying project management principles, methods, techniques, and tools. At least Eight (8) years of that experience must have been as a Senior Project Manager of one or more large or complex IT projects.
MQ 3 Minimum Qualification
Current Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute. The PMP certification is required and may not be substituted with additional experience.
MQ 4 Minimum Qualification
Ten (10) years of experience developing and managing complex IT project schedules using Microsoft Project.
MQ 5 Minimum Qualification
Experience managing a minimum of three (3) IT projects through successful PAL approval, with a value of at least $10 million each.
