Data Analyst – Databricks / SQL

Location: Seattle, WA (Onsite – 4 days/week required)
Duration: Now through September 2026

Role Overview

We are seeking a Data Analyst with strong experience in SQL and Databricks to support data engineering, analytics, and reporting initiatives within a Databricks Lakehouse environment. The role involves data extraction, transformation, analysis, and dashboarding while working closely with business and technical teams in an agile setup.

Key Responsibilities

Use SQL and Databricks for data extraction, transformation, and analysis within the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform
Write and execute complex SQL queries using Delta Lake and Databricks features
Ingest and manage data within the Databricks Lakehouse environment
Perform ad-hoc and exploratory data analysis using Databricks SQL / SQL Editor
Build dashboards in Databricks SQL; use Tableau when required for visualization
Manage data objects, tables, views, and related assets in Databricks
Collaborate in Agile ceremonies (standups, sprint planning, refinements)
Work with product owners and business users to clarify requirements
Perform testing of data products across environments (DEV/UAT/PROD)
Document data products, process flows, and business requirements

Must Have Skills

Strong SQL (complex querying, joins, performance tuning)
Hands-on experience with Databricks (Lakehouse, Delta Lake)
Data ingestion and transformation experience in Databricks environment
Experience with Databricks SQL / SQL Editor
Dashboarding experience (Databricks SQL and/or Tableau)
Understanding of data modeling and data pipelines
Agile/Scrum experience
