Senior Python Automation Engineer

We are seeking a strong Senior Python Engineer with hands-on experience building automation tools, working with APIs, testing Python code, and developing solutions in Linux-based environments. The ideal candidate will have strong scripting and automation skills, experience with CI/CD pipelines, and the ability to process and analyze large volumes of data for reporting.

Security tooling experience is a plus, particularly with SAST, OSS/security scanning, vulnerability management, or other application security tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automation tools and applications using Python.
• Build integrations and automation using REST APIs and other API technologies.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested Python code using frameworks such as pytest or unittest.
• Develop solutions using multi-threading, multi-processing, and concurrent programming techniques where required.
• Work extensively in Linux/Unix environments and develop automation using Bash/Shell scripting.
• Understand and work with CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Develop basic automation and scripts for Windows environments when needed.
• Process and analyze large volumes of data and generate reports for technical and business stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot automation issues, identify performance bottlenecks, and improve existing tools and processes.
• Participate in code reviews and follow software development best practices.
• Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, security, and other technical teams.
