Job Details

We are seeking a junior litigation associate to join a specialized practice focused on appellate work and high-stakes motion strategy. This role offers early exposure to complex legal issues, with a mix of brief writing, dispositive motions, and involvement in sensitive investigative matters.
Responsibilities

Draft appellate briefs and critical motions in complex litigation matters
Conduct legal research and develop strategic arguments for high-level filings
Assist with matters involving internal and external investigations
Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and written advocacy
Engage in substantive writing projects with meaningful responsibility early on

Qualifications

1-2 years of experience in a litigation-focused role
Strong academic background with demonstrated writing ability
Prior experience with motion practice or appellate work preferred
Exposure to investigations or white collar matters is a plus
Excellent analytical and communication skills

Requirements

Federal appellate clerkship experience required
Prior law firm experience required
Admission to a U.S. bar or eligibility for admission
