Overview:
Location: Albany, NY - Hybrid
Salary: $110,000 - $135,000
We are seeking a Business Analyst who will support our NYS client. This role will focus heavily on translating healthcare and data-system policies into clear requirements, measurable outcomes, and polished stakeholder-ready materials while facilitating feedback sessions. The ideal candidate for this role will have hands-on experience with healthcare and data systems, strong policy-to-insight writing skills, and experience with the HR1 “One Big Beautiful Bill”.
Duties:
Develop data and business requirements documentation in alignment with NYS processes and procedures
Develop high quality and grammatically correct presentation materials
Ability to read and understand policy and summarize the policy clearly
Draft key performance indicators and measurable business outcomes
Support meetings with client stakeholders to solicit stakeholder feedback
Mandatory Qualifications:
Associates or Bachelor's degree
5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst working with large-scale projects, programs, or organizational initiatives.
2+ years of experience working with data systems.
2+ years of experience working with Healthcare systems.
Strong organizational and critical thinking skills
Ability to understand policy and convert into insights, action items, and next steps.
Certifications: PMP or CBAP
Desirable Qualifications:
Master's degree
Any certifications and experience with process improvement techniques (such as Lean Six Sigma, Agile, PDCA cycles, and Kanban), Project Management, Business Analysis, ITIL or similar.
Knowledge and understanding of the HR1 (“One Big Beautiful Bill”) bill.
