About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Product Owner (PO) to drive the design, development, and delivery of innovative insurance technology solutions. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in the U.S. Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance domain, preferably within Commercial and Specialty Insurance, along with a deep understanding of the end-to-end insurance lifecycle.

This role requires a blend of insurance domain expertise, product ownership, business analysis, and Agile delivery experience. The Product Owner will work closely with business stakeholders, development teams, and QA teams to translate business needs into actionable requirements and ensure successful product delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure alignment on priorities, scope, and deliverables.
  • Own and manage the product backlog, including defining, refining, and prioritizing user stories and epics.
  • Lead requirements gathering through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and JAD sessions.
  • Create and maintain business and functional documentation, including BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and process flows.
  • Collaborate with underwriting, product management, operations, and compliance teams to capture and validate business requirements.
  • Work closely with development and QA teams to clarify requirements, define acceptance criteria, and support testing activities.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) planning, execution, validation, and sign-off processes.
  • Contribute to MVP definition, product roadmap planning, and release prioritization.
