Accountabilities- Development and delivery of high-quality software solutions by using industry aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools. Ensuring that code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance.
- Cross-functional collaboration with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.
- Collaboration with peers, participate in code reviews, and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.
- Stay informed of industry technology trends and innovations and actively contribute to the organization's technology communities to foster a culture of technical excellence and growth.
- Adherence to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and ensure secure software solutions.
- Implementation of effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability.

In this role, you'll work as part of a globally distributed development team building desktop trading applications used by equities desks across New York, London, and APAC. You'll contribute to the development of high-volume trading systems, focusing on performance, stability, and usability for electronic trading users.
To be successful as a Senior Application Developer, you should have experience with:
- Developing C# applications using .NET WinForms and WPF
- Building GUI applications using MVP or MVVM design patterns
- Applying data structures and algorithms in performance-sensitive systems
- Profiling memory usage and improving application performance
- Writing and maintaining unit tests
Some other highly valued skills may include:
- Familiarity with HTML5
- Experience with JavaScript
- Exposure to modern UI frameworks such as React or Angular

Minimum Salary: $120,000
Maximum Salary: $175,000
The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above includes only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.
