The Azure Cloud Engineer will work closely with development, DevOps, security, and operations teams to build highly available, secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud environments.
Design, deploy, and manage Microsoft Azure infrastructure and cloud services.
Manage Azure resources including Virtual Machines, VNets, Subnets, NSGs, Load Balancers, Azure Storage, Azure SQL, Key Vault, App Services, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
Implement and maintain Azure networking, including VPN, ExpressRoute, private endpoints, DNS, routing, and network security.
Configure and manage Azure Active Directory / Microsoft Entra ID, RBAC, managed identities, and access policies.
Implement infrastructure automation using Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
Monitor cloud infrastructure using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, and Microsoft Defender for Cloud.
Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, performance, availability, and security issues.
Implement backup, disaster recovery, high availability, and business continuity solutions.
Optimize Azure environments for performance, reliability, and cost.
Implement cloud security best practices and assist with security and compliance requirements.
Automate operational tasks using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or scripting languages.
Participate in cloud migration and modernization projects.
Maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, runbooks, and operational procedures.
Collaborate with developers and other infrastructure teams to support production and non-production environments.
3+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure or Azure engineering.
Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
Good knowledge of Azure compute, storage, networking, databases, and identity services.
Experience with Azure Virtual Networks, NSGs, Load Balancers, Azure Firewall, VPN, and Private Endpoints.
Experience with Microsoft Entra ID, RBAC, Managed Identities, and Key Vault.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
Working knowledge of Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Git.
Experience with Azure monitoring and logging tools.
Strong knowledge of Windows and/or Linux administration.
Scripting experience with PowerShell, Azure CLI, Python, or Bash.
Understanding of cloud security, backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability concepts.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
