Key Responsibilities:
Deployment and Configuration:
o Install and configure laptops, shared machines, printers, and other peripheral devices.
Software Installation:
o Basic installation of applications using our in-house software centre tool.
Troubleshooting:
o Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues on-site and remotely.
Networking:
o Assist with network connectivity issues, including LAN, WAN, and VPN configurations.
User Support:
o Provide technical support and training to end-users on the use of hardware and software.
Inventory Management:
o Maintain accurate records of hardware inventory at the office.
Documentation:
o Create and maintain detailed documentation of deployment processes, configurations, troubleshooting steps and lessons learned.
Coordination:
o Work closely with the project coordinator and local onsite support teams to coordinate deployments and address any specific needs.
Qualifications:
Education:
o Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional) are a plus.
Experience:
o 2+ years of experience in desktop/executive support or IT deployment roles.
o Oil & Gas experience preferred
Technical Skills:
o Proficiency in Windows 10 & 11 operating systems.
o Experience with software deployment tools and remote support technologies.
o Cloud Technologies (Azure)
o Basic understanding of network protocols and configurations.
o Service Now (Ticketing system) experience
Soft Skills:
o Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
o Ability to work independently (unsupervised) and manage time effectively.
Physical Requirements:
o Ability to lift and carry computer equipment.
