Avanciers are seeking a detail-oriented AutoCAD Designer to support drafting and design activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and modifying 2D AutoCAD drawings, converting 3D Creo models into accurate 2D representations, and ensuring adherence to drafting standards. This role requires strong technical expertise, precision, and the ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
Create and modify 2D AutoCAD drawings and blocks for components and assemblies.
Convert 3D Creo models into accurate 2D AutoCAD drawings while maintaining dimensional integrity.
Update and refine existing drawings to meet current design standards and project requirements.
Interpret technical specifications and collaborate with engineers to implement design changes.
Ensure compliance with drafting standards, GD&T, and industry best practices.
Maintain organized documentation and drawing files for version control and traceability.
Must-Have Skills (Non-Negotiable)
Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D drafting) and familiarity with Creo software.
Strong understanding of technical drawings, geometric tolerances (GD&T), and drafting standards.
Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Required Qualifications
4–8 years of relevant drafting/design experience.
Associate degree in Drafting, Design Technology, or related field (Bachelor’s preferred).
Ability to accurately interpret and convert 3D models into 2D drawings.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
