Role: Lead HEDIS Data Quality Analyst
Location: 100% Remote
W2 Contract: 6 Months (Possible extension)
- This is a part-time position, 20 hours per week. The selected candidate can set their hours during normal working hours (i.e., five 4-hour days, four 5-hour days, etc.)
- This position is 100% remote. Candidates must be comfortable working EST hours.
Pay Rate: $61/hour on W2 - All inclusive
Overview & Responsibilities
Work with a leading healthcare payer organization to lead the testing efforts for a critical HEDIS data migration project. As a Lead Test Analyst, you will ensure the integrity of data as the organization transitions its HEDIS engine from CareSeed to ClaimSphere. This is a high-impact, part-time role perfect for a HEDIS subject matter expert who enjoys data analysis, debugging, and bridging the gap between technical IT teams and business end-users.
You will
Support parallel testing by comparing and validating outputs from CareSeed and ClaimSphere HEDIS engines.
Debug and problem-solve data discrepancies or issues occurring between the two HEDIS engines.
Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business teams and end-users.
Interview business teams to collect testing requirements and write comprehensive test cases and scenarios.
Document and log defects, then collaborate with IT teams to ensure timely resolution.
Communicate complex technical data information across multiple cross-functional teams.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 8 years of experience in HEDIS data analysis (10+ years preferred).
Strong background in the Healthcare Payer industry.
Mandatory proficiency in SQL programming for data analysis and testing.
Proven experience in Lead Testing roles, specifically performing UAT and writing test cases.
High school diploma required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred, but 10+ years of relevant experience can be substituted for a degree.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience using CareSeed and/or ClaimSphere (ClaimSphere is the end product).
Familiarity with Snowflake, Data Hub, and SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS).
Strong Business Analysis (BA) skills and professional communication skills.
Knowledge of HEDIS methodology and reporting cycles.
