Summary

Role: Web Application Pentester (AppSec)
Location - Richardson, TX (Onsite)

Role Overview

Looking for a Web Application Pentester to perform application security testing and architecture reviews across web, API, and cloud environments. This role will act as an SME driving secure development practices.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct web & API penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities
Review application security architecture and design patterns
Evaluate security tools, standards, and authentication protocols
Partner with teams to define and enforce security policies
Promote secure coding practices and AppSec awareness
Review technical designs for security compliance

Requirements

Strong experience in web, API, and cloud security
Hands-on penetration testing and vulnerability assessment
Knowledge of authentication protocols & AppSec standards
Ability to communicate security risks across teams
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
