The Work

Senior IT Operations Specialist delivers independent, on?site enterprise IT support our client in Guam and Saipan. This position ensures reliable, secure, and uninterrupted access to mission?critical IT services at geographically dispersed Pacific locations by administering endpoints and user accounts; supporting Active Directory/Entra ID and SCCM imaging; maintaining VTC and wireless capabilities; troubleshooting network and MDF/IDF infrastructure; resolving service tickets; and coordinating inter?island technical support. The role is responsible for minimizing outages, rapidly restoring services, maintaining cybersecurity compliance, and enabling users to effectively perform operational, training, and command activities.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID user accounts, permissions, groups, and access controls.
  • Execute endpoint imaging, configuration, deployment, patching, and lifecycle sustainment using SCCM/MECM.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, account, connectivity, peripheral, and network-related incidents.
  • Provide responsive technical support within NIPR, SIPR, and other authorized DoD operating environments.
  • Support VTC, audiovisual, VoIP, and collaboration systems used for meetings, exercises, and mission-focused events.
  • Maintain wireless network connectivity, performing Wi?Fi troubleshooting, optimization, and issue remediation.
  • Monitor and sustain MDF/IDF equipment, network links, cabling, and associated supporting infrastructure.
  • Manage incidents, service requests, and problem tickets using AESMP, ServiceNow, and other approved IT service management systems.
  • Document troubleshooting activities, ticket resolutions, system changes, outages, maintenance actions, and configuration details.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

Qualifications - Here's What You Need
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a closely related technical discipline. Relevant military, DoD, or enterprise IT experience may be accepted in lieu of formal education.
  • Required Certification: Current CompTIA Security+ (or equivalent credential that meets applicable DoD 8140 requirements).
  • Preferred Certification: CompTIA Network+
  • Active Secret Clearance.
  • Must be able to pass a background check. May require additional background checks as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment.

Minimum Skills:
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate in a clear, professional, and articulate manner.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with high-level attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast past environment with changing priorities; adaptable to change and a quick learner.
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work well independently as well as on a multi-functional team.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
  • Proficient in MS Office, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Working Conditions
  • Professional office environment, with the ability to work onsite in the main office.
  • Must be physically and mentally able to perform duties extended periods of time.
  • Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed to meet the demands of this position.
  • Must be able to establish a productive and professional workspace.
  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time looking at computer screen.
  • May be asked to work a flexible schedule which may include holidays.
  • May be asked to travel for business or professional development purposes.
  • May be asked to work hours outside of normal business hours.

Pay Range

USD $85,000.00 - USD $130,000.00 /Yr.
