Job Title: Google Cloud Platform DevOps Engineer

Location: New York, NY

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team in New York. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform), Kubernetes, and Helm charts, along with a passion for automation, scalability, and reliability in cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for cloudnative applications.
Manage and optimize infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).
Deploy and configure applications using Kubernetes and Helm charts.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability.
Collaborate with developers, QA, and operations teams to streamline workflows.
Implement best practices for security, scalability, and cost optimization.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
Handson expertise with Google Cloud Platform services (Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage, IAM).
Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and Helm charts for application deployment.
Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar).
Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, or similar).
Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, etc.).
Excellent problemsolving and communication skills.

Nice to Have:

Experience with Terraform or other InfrastructureasCode tools.
Knowledge of Docker and containerization best practices.
Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
