Systems Analyst Mainframe

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Systems Analyst in Westlake, TX.

Summary:
As a Systems Analyst on the team, you will be expected to quickly gain understanding of all the components of our applications, develop customer journey maps, data flows and inputs/outputs of the platform. The ideal candidate should show ease at making personal connections, be confident in leading and constructively challenging with a dedicated approach to solving problems and overcoming obstacles.

REQUIREMENTS:
* 8+ years of experience
* Problem-solving - Identifying issues, exploring solutions, identifying course of action
* Communication - Ability to articulate business problem/requirements in technology terms, verbal and written
* Influencer - Ability to collaborate and build consensus
* Negotiator - Ability to have hard conversations with stakeholders
* Critical thinker - Able to explore innovative solutions, evaluating pros and cons, and seeing the bigger picture
* Presentation skills - Able to present to all parties their findings from their analysis and data they gathered
* Tech Aptitude - strong understanding of SQL, relational database and data model + fluency with API contracts; Familiarity with .NET code; Familiarity with Cobol programs; Familiarity working in shared DevOps model

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
