Android Developer-Triage- San Jose, CA (Onsite)

Pay Rate: $33-35/hr on W2

Job Description: We are seeking an Android Developer (Triage Engineering) to support application debugging, issue triage, and defect analysis for Android-based applications. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Android debugging tools, solid knowledge of Java and Kotlin, and a clear understanding of the bug lifecycle. Key Responsibilities

Perform Android application triage, debugging, and issue analysis
Capture and analyze bug reports, logcat logs, and adb outputs
Debug Android applications using Java and Kotlin
Report, track, and manage defects using bug tracking tools
Understand and follow the complete bug lifecycle from identification to closure
Collaborate with engineering and QA teams to resolve issues efficiently
Create and maintain technical documentation for defects and resolutions

Required Skills & Experience

Intermediate knowledge of Android application development
Strong hands-on experience with Java and Kotlin
Proficiency in Android debugging tools (logcat, adb, bug reports)
Experience with bug tracking tools (JIRA or similar)
Good communication and documentation skills

Nice to Have

Experience with Google tools (Docs, Sheets, etc.)
Prior experience in Android triage or support engineering roles
