Summary

Project Manager/Medicaid Program Administrator:

The NC HIEA Medicaid Program Administrator will ensure the effective administration of Medicaid initiatives at NC HIEA.

This position leads

1) development, revision, execution, and oversight of federal Advance Planning Documents, contracts, MOAs, MOUs, BAAs and other agreements associated with the program,

2) coordination and alignment of efforts across NC HIEA, Medicaid, and vendor staff to ensure program goals are met,

3) internal program team meetings, together with project management staff,

4) progress reporting to state and federal partners, and

5) communications with state and federal partners and related stakeholder organizations.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  1. Engaging NC HIEA staff and key partners, e.g., NC DHHS and SAS (NC HIEA s technical partner), in planning and drafting of scopes of work, budgets, and frameworks for data exchange.
  2. Navigating internal and external processes to ensure the timely execution of project agreements (e.g., APDs, contracts, MOAs, MOUs, BAAs).
  3. Monitoring and providing guidance to ensure that project implementation, spending, and data use proceed according to project agreements, organizational protocols, and state and federal regulations.
  4. Ensuring project plans, staffing, reporting, procurements, timelines, and milestones align with parameters outlined in project agreements.
  5. Serving as a spokesperson for the with state and federal partners and key provider stakeholder organizations.
