Summary

We are seeking an experienced AWS Data Engineer to join a high-impact project supporting US-based operations. This role requires strong expertise in cloud data engineering, distributed systems, and large-scale data processing. The ideal candidate must be a and eligible to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines on AWS
Develop and optimize ETL/ELT workflows for large datasets
Work with distributed data processing frameworks for high-volume data
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business stakeholders
Ensure data quality, governance, and security compliance
Analyze structured and unstructured datasets for insights
Troubleshoot and resolve data engineering issues effectively

Required Skills & Experience

Minimum 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering
Strong hands-on experience with AWS services:
- Step Functions
- Lambda
- Glue
- S3
- DynamoDB
- Redshift
Strong programming skills in Python
Experience with PySpark and Pandas for large-scale data processing
Experience with distributed systems and scalable architectures
Solid understanding of ETL/ELT processes
Knowledge of data governance best practices
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
