Summary

This group supports the applications that the CAD and PLM systems use.  This is a great company that does well and offers competitive pay and excellent benefits. The job description is below and talks about SHM.  YOU DO NOT NEED SHM!.  That is a term this Aerospace company uses but no one else does. 

Manufacturing Company, CITRIX not a Must but this is Important Data format tools (XML/CSV/XLS)

 

If I had to prioritize among the knowledge (both desirable and specific) I would rate them as:

1)            Data format (XML/CSV/XLS) would  be the most important (Mid level - no need to be an expert but to have some sense out of it)

a.            Problem analysis & innovative thinking

b.            Ability to connect systems / data /processes

2)            Background on manufacturing process (Mid level – visualization on how data reflects into the final product)

a.            Capture business needs into functional requirements

b.            Business to technical communication

3)            And as within the competences

a.            Analytical problem solving

b.            Incident management

 

•             SHM deployment

•             Capture the business needs and translate them into a solution

•             Ensure End-to-End integration within the SHM suite and the existing Information System.

5+ years in the related field

Information Technology, Citrix, SQL, Data format (XML/CSV/XLS)

Knowledge of the IS world, ITIL processes, Writing/formalization, Project Management, Background on manufacturing process

 

SHM Application Owner

•             Preparation including means to access and feed the solution (printers, barcode readers,…)

•             Provide day-to-day functional & technical support to the Business Units already deployed with SHM solution (run mode) using SEP ticketing systems

•             Monitor system alerts for already SHM deployed programs to anticipate any system malfunction

•             Analyse, challenge and answer defects/evolutions in a timely manner / escalate topics with elements required for the analysis and with the right priority into their/our ticketing system setting up cation plans

•             Identify Business Unit required evolutions that can impact Core Solution and coordinate short term to long term solutions

•             Support Business teams during UAT and go-live phases

•             Organization and execution of non-regression tests on performance, and analysis on deviation

•             Definition and test of back-up and recovery plan

•             Perform & maintain SHM solution set-up (including functional & technical settings)

•             Define and write functional requirements based on Business needs

•             Define and write functional & integration tests

•             Identify and define possible interfaces required with other systems

•             Define and share activity planning according to project macro planning

•             Provide visibility and escalate deviations to the eWInS team

•             Define and communicate action plan, in case of any deviations to converge to the initial plan

•             Enforce project quality rules and methodology

•             Analyse risks and define mitigations to be validated by the eWInS team

•             Set up procedures and tools for the data management (archiving, data cleansing, restoring…)

•             Adheres and implement health, safety and environmental programs.

•             Promote and Participate on Safety Management System Culture.
