Title: Scrum master

Type : Hybrid (Travel:  2 days in Dallas – Texas office )

Day to Day job Duties: (what this person will do on a daily/weekly basis) 

Act as Scrum Master for 2–3 Agile teams running in parallel.
Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies: Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
Ensure Agile principles and practices are followed consistently across teams.
Coordinate and manage collaboration between onshore and offshore teams across different time zones.
Identify, track, and remove impediments to ensure smooth sprint execution.
Work closely with Product Owners to maintain a well-defined, prioritized, and groomed backlog.
Monitor sprint progress using Agile metrics (velocity, burn-down/up charts, cycle time).
Drive continuous improvement through retrospectives and actionable insights.
Promote a culture of accountability, transparency, and high performance.
Facilitate cross-team dependencies and ensure alignment across multiple workstreams.
Ensure adherence to BFSI compliance, governance, and security standards where applicable.
Support release planning, deployment coordination, and stakeholder communication.
Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or equivalent certification.
Experience with scaled Agile frameworks (SAFe, LeSS, Nexus).
Knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks in BFSI (e.g., risk, audit, data security).
Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

Basic Qualifications: (what are the skills required to this job with minimum years of experience on each)

Minimum 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master managing multiple Agile teams simultaneously.
Strong experience working with distributed (onshore/offshore) delivery models.
Solid understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
Mandatory experience in BFSI domain projects.
Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
Ability to work effectively across time zones and cultures.
Hands-on experience with Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

Degree: Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
