Title: Platform Engineer II

Location: Frisco, TX

Work style: Hybrid (MUST BE ONSITE 3X A WEEK)

Key Expectations:

• Subject Matter Expert for on-premise payments platforms as relating to Settlement, reconcilliation, and operational aspects of CDS settlement platforms.
• Assist in developing and troubleshooting transaction flows as related to settlement and reconcilliation.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to resolve issues related to transaction processing and settlement.
• Build automation and checkpoints to proactively monitor system health and reduce manual intervention.
• Participate in platform upgrades, patching, and configuration management.
• Contribute to automation efforts for deployment, monitoring, and operational tasks.
• Document system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting guides.
• Ensure compliance with internal security policies and financial industry standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline with 4+ years of experience or advanced degree with commensurate level of work experience
• Advanced programming skills in multiple languages (Python, Java, Go, etc.)
• Extensive experience with cloud infrastructure and services
• Proficiency in designing and managing Kubernetes clusters
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and networking
• Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
• Ability to optimize system performance and troubleshoot complex issues
• Knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements
