The Labor Planning & Management Program is a major cross-functional initiative focused on redesigning and modernizing the way Client manages labor forecasting, scheduling, and show site resourcing. This program spans three major technology domains:
- Information Workflow
- Labor Planning (ScOPE Replacement)
- Show Site Management
Given the significant volume of process definition, requirements consolidation, workflow mapping, and data/KPI alignment required-along with the complexity of multi platform technology efforts-we are seeking a dedicated, US based Business Analyst to serve as an embedded partner to Clients SMEs throughout ramp up, RFP activities, solution evaluation, and future state design.
This role is critical to ensuring continuity, removing strain from already committed internal teams, and supporting the program with consistent, focused analysis and documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Requirements & Process Analysis
Lead end to end requirements elicitation across Information Workflow, Labor Planning, and Show Site Management workstreams.
Consolidate business needs from multiple stakeholder groups into clear, actionable functional and non functional requirements.
Analyze existing processes (current state) and design detailed future state workflows, identify gaps, dependencies, and optimization opportunities.
Produce clear, structured, and audit ready documentation that supports alignment across all teams and phases of the program.
Own the development of business requirements documents (BRDs), process maps, workflow diagrams, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Program Support & SME Collaboration
Work in tight partnership with Clients SMEs, ensuring continuous alignment across regions, teams, and disciplines without diverting SMEs from their operational responsibilities.
Serve as a single, stable point of continuity across all phases of the program: discovery, RFP preparation, vendor evaluations, and deep dive sessions.
Facilitate cross functional workshops, design sessions, and requirement refinement meetings.
RFP & Vendor Engagement Support
Support the creation of RFP materials by translating business needs into vendor ready requirements.
Assist in evaluating vendor responses and performing fit gap analyses.
Coordinate and document deep dives, demos, and technical/functional assessment sessions.
SDLC Alignment & Delivery Discipline
Adhere to established Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes across all phases of the program, ensuring requirements, designs, and deliverables meet clients quality and governance standards.
Maintain clear traceability from business needs through requirements, design, testing, and deployment.
Ensure documentation, workflows, and requirements are version controlled, consistently updated, and aligned with SDLC checkpoints.
Collaborate with project managers, architects, and technical leads to ensure all artifacts meet readiness criteria before progressing to subsequent phases.
Support structured change control processes, ensuring impacts are assessed, documented, and communicated effectively.
Data, KPIs, and Reporting
Partner with data owners to define labor, staffing, and operational KPIs required for planning and management of workflows.
Ensure data requirements are clearly captured for integrations, dashboards, and analytics.
Testing & Validation
Develop UAT plans, test scripts, and validation criteria aligned to business scenarios.
Coordinate UAT execution, manage feedback cycles, and document defects and resolutions.
Change Management & Documentation
Prepare user focused documentation, training materials, and reference guides as solutions mature.
Support readiness activities for new systems and processes.
Skills & Experience
5+ years of business analysis experience in technology, operations, or enterprise systems.
Proven ability to manage complex, multi workstream requirements with minimal oversight.
Strong background in process mapping, workflow design, and cross functional requirement consolidation.
Experience supporting RFP development, vendor analysis, and structured evaluation processes.
Proven ability to identify, map, and engage the full spectrum of stakeholders across business, operations, technology, and vendor teams.
Working knowledge of industries such as construction, warehouse operations, retail, labor management, and finance, with the ability to translate operational realities into system and workflow requirements.
Ability to leverage free or low cost AI based tools to create wireframes, mockups, workflow diagrams, and conceptual architecture visuals that support requirements and design discussions.
Strong experience producing use case driven documentation, including detailed scenarios, preconditions, triggers, flows, and exception paths.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across technical teams, SMEs, and executive stakeholders.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple parallel efforts.
Familiarity with data analysis concepts and KPI design.
Basic SQL proficiency for querying datasets, validating requirements, and supporting data driven analysis.
Experience designing reports, dashboards, and operational insights in collaboration with data teams.
Ability to create wireframes, mockups, and conceptual UI/UX representations to support workflow and reporting design.
Ability to review test cases for completeness and accuracy, ensuring alignment with business requirements and supporting the creation of a comprehensive Requirements
Traceability Matrix (RTM)
Experience with workforce management, scheduling, planning, ERP, or operational systems is a plus.
Comfortable working in both Agile and Waterfall environments.
Must be able to work in US hours and collaborate with global teams flexibly based on teams' timelines.
