Detailed Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior SQL Server Database Administrator (DBA) to manage, optimize, and secure enterprise Microsoft SQL Server environments supporting high-volume production workloads. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing large-scale databases, ensuring high availability, disaster recovery, and optimal database performance.

Responsibilities

Administer, configure, patch, and upgrade Microsoft SQL Server environments.
Manage high availability and disaster recovery using AlwaysOn, failover clustering, replication, and log shipping.
Perform database backup, restoration, and recovery operations.
Optimize database performance through query tuning, indexing, and T-SQL optimization.
Monitor database health, troubleshoot production issues, and perform root cause analysis.
Implement database security, access controls, and compliance standards.
Support application releases and validate database changes.
Perform capacity planning and forecasting.
Support Azure SQL and cloud-based database deployments.
Manage large-scale databases handling 30+ TB of data and high transaction volumes.
