Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager with 15+ years of IT/ERP project management experience and strong expertise in PeopleSoft PUM/PeopleTools upgrades and OCI migrations.
The ideal candidate will manage large-scale PeopleSoft modernization initiatives, coordinate cross-functional teams and vendors, and work closely with executive stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end PeopleSoft PUM and PeopleTools upgrade projects.
Manage PeopleSoft migration from on-premises environments to OCI.
Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, milestones, dependencies, and risk registers.
Manage project scope, risks, issues, changes, resources, and overall delivery.
Coordinate PeopleSoft teams across HCM, FSCM, ELM, Pensions, and other modules.
Oversee testing, customization retrofit, defect management, cutover, go-live, and production stabilization.
Coordinate infrastructure, database, networking, security, cloud, and application teams during OCI migration.
Manage Oracle Consulting, system integrators, and third-party vendors.
Track vendor deliverables, milestones, resources, contractual commitments, and quality.
Lead steering committee meetings and provide executive-level project status reporting.
Manage project budgets, forecasts, vendor invoices, and financial controls.
Ensure disaster recovery, security, business continuity, and operational readiness requirements are addressed.
Drive Agile/Hybrid project delivery and maintain strong project governance.
Required Qualifications:
15+ years of IT/ERP Project Management experience.
10+ years of PeopleSoft project delivery experience.
Proven experience managing PeopleSoft PUM/PeopleTools upgrades.
Proven experience leading PeopleSoft OCI migration projects.
Strong understanding of PeopleSoft architecture and lifecycle management.
Working knowledge of Oracle Database, WebLogic, Integration Broker, and PeopleSoft environments.
Experience managing large enterprise projects and $5M+ budgets.
Strong executive stakeholder, vendor, and steering committee management experience.
Experience with risk, budget, resource, dependency, and change management.
Strong Agile/Hybrid project management experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
PMP certification.
OCI certification.
Agile/Scrum certification.
Experience with HCM, FSCM, or ELM.
Experience with cloud security, disaster recovery, and high-availability environments.
Experience working with Oracle Consulting or major system integrators.
Public sector, higher education, healthcare, or large enterprise experience.
