Our client is seeking a Lab Tech I in Minneapolis, MN

Role Description

The Automated Inspection and Measurement group is responsible for fundamental technology development, application investigations, system integration and deployment, and long-term support across many divisions in the areas of automated inspection, measurement, machine vision, automation, and process data systems. This group is a leader in digital technology within the corporation through its technology development and breadth of system deployment across manufacturing operations.

Conduct laboratory evaluations using inspection and measurement system technology Design improved laboratory equipment through the machine design process Perform data analysis, technical writing, and project reporting Support technology development for custom inspection and measurement applications, as appropriate Maintain general laboratory organization and upkeep

Skills & Requirements

Sophomore-, junior-, or senior-level student pursuing a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science, physics, or another engineering field at an accredited university
Familiarity with optics, electronics, and system integration Machine design experience, including electrical and mechanical design Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and teamwork skills Project management experience Experience with Dozuki
