Financial Planning & Analysis Manager III Under minimal supervision, performs complex technical/analytical work and/or process management in support of the development, interpretation and implementation of business planning processes. Develops and implements concepts or techniques for financial and strategic planning and control. Prepares periodic performance and strategic assessments for use in budget planning, developing forecasts and projections using established policies, procedures and guidelines. Prepares and presents briefings to senior leadership to drive decision-making on financial and strategic plans, demonstrating an ability to communicate across various levels of the organization.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Gathers and prepares analysis with minimal guidance based on information from internal and external sources.
- Develops, maintains, audits and reviews financial results and forecasts. Identifies inconsistencies in financial results. Prepares recommendations based on data summaries, trend analysis, etc.
- Serves as liaison between Corporate Planning and Analysis and research and functional organization leadership, including but not limited to preparing and presenting briefings to senior leadership to drive decision-making on financial and strategic plans and targets.
- Develops and works within complex spreadsheets and financial planning templates, providing training and guidance to other users as needed.
- Participates in the development and implementation of concepts and techniques for financial and strategic planning and control.
- Develops, designs, and manages independent ad hoc projects.
- Leads multi-person projects and analytical efforts crossing department boundaries.
- Develops/prepares reports and assists in the development of new/revised policies.
- Interprets and applies internal policies.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications - Strong analytical problem-solving skills required
- Inquisitive active thinker willing and able to quickly learn new concepts; takes initiative to advance assignments as far as possible with minimal direction
- Excellent attention to detail, able to produce high-quality precision work
- Excellent oral and written communication skills required
- Proven ability to adapt to changing priorities
- Knowledge of federal government contractor rules and regulations preferred
- Advanced knowledge of Excel required
- Thorough knowledge of PC required
- Intermediate knowledge of PowerPoint preferred
Education Requirements Master's/MBA Degree
Experience Minimum of six years relevant experience

Salary Range $129,000 - $184,500
