Genesis10 is currently seeking an Electrical Project Control Engineer for a direct hire position with a Global Manufacturing Company located in Circleville, OH. This is a full-time opportunity.
Compensation: $85,000 - $120,000 per year, W2, based on qualifications Position Overview: As an
Electrical Project Control Engineer, you will be responsible for scoping, engineering, designing, and installing projects in the facility, including both new installations and modifications to existing processes. You will manage complex projects that may involve engineering disciplines beyond electrical engineering, working closely with contractors, supervisors, and operations personnel to ensure high achievement in safety, quality, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities: - Develop project plans, conceptualize systems, and communicate these plans to technical and non-technical personnel
- Create scope documents, obtain engineering and construction bids, write ACT requests, oversee construction, schedule and coordinate system outages, and assist in the startup operation of projects
- Develop project budgets and schedules to drive the completion of the project within constraints
- Track project spending from conception to commissioning and communicate spending trends
- Assist in diagnosis of operational problems and maintenance troubleshooting
- Oversee process control installations, improvements, infrastructure, plant power distribution, and supporting systems
- Develop and institute operating and training programs related to projects
- Assure that all necessary OSHA PSM, TS16949, and environmental permitting requirements are met
Primary Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related engineering field
- 5+ years of controls / DCS / PLC experience
- Experience with Allen-Bradley PLC programming process instrumentation in an industrial environment or willingness to learn
- Experience with Proficy iFix SCADA, HMI, and historian software is a plus
- Must have excellent problem-solving skills and be able to conceptualize systems
