Description

SAIC is seeking an Information Security SETA to provide SETA support to SAIC's Prime Program, Landmark AOS in Chantilly, VA. Landmark AOS is a large SETA program, supporting the NRO's Ground Enterprise Directorate (GED), responsible for the acquisition of systems over the complete end-to-end life cycle.

The Information Security SETA provides trusted SETA support to the NRO's ACIO and Chief Architect (CA) organizations, enabling enterprise cyber modernization, Zero Trust implementation, vulnerability assessment, and secure mission system integration across the Ground Enterprise. This role requires a seasoned cybersecurity professional with deep experience in policy compliance, vulnerability scanning, systems integration, exercise planning, disaster recovery, and technical advisory support-all core strengths.

Key Responsibilities to include:
  • Provide cybersecurity and systems engineering expertise to ACIO leadership and represent GED in NRO CIO level meetings and forums.
  • Apply Zero Trust principles to enterprise systems, including secure SDLC, continuous monitoring, and control validation.
  • Coordinate with GED/AGO to identify prioritization of research and development activities based on GED System Program Office needs and to facilitate tech transition, and ensure cyber requirements align with operational needs
  • Provide support and advise the Chief, Architecture Engineering Group on data architecture strategies
  • Support development of a roadmap to integrate AI solutions into Ground engineering and system architecture; engage with the Technical Director to ensure cyber security practices are implemented within the development efforts that leverage AI. Support identification and prioritization of AI implementation within business processes and operations.
  • Perform architecture reviews, requirements analysis, and integration assessments, and support the development of SOPs, and CONOPS across multiple federal agencies.
  • Contribute to CONOPS, requirements documents, test plans, SOWs, SEPs, and senior-leadership briefings.


Qualifications

Required Education and Experience
  • Bachelors and nine (9) years or more experience; Masters and seven (7) years or more experience ; PhD or JD and four (4) years or more experience. Relevant experience to be substituted in lieu of degree.
  • Active Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph
  • 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, systems engineering, vulnerability assessment, and enterprise IT operations
  • Expertise in Zero Trust, continuous monitoring, secure SDLC, and federal cybersecurity frameworks (NIST SP 800 series, FISMA, FISCAM, FedRAMP).
  • Hands-on experience with vulnerability scanning tools (Nessus, Foundstone, ACAS), penetration testing tools (Core Impact, BackTrack, Metasploit), and network security tools (WebInspect, Event Tracker, IntrusionShield).
  • Demonstrated ability to produce ICDs, ISAs, test plans, SOPs, CONOPS, and AARs.
  • Experience supporting policy compliance, audit remediation, and governance assessments.
  • Strong communication skills for technical exchange meetings, stakeholder coordination, and senior-level briefings.


Target salary range: $160,001 - $200,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
