PeopleSoft Application Administrator / Architect

Trigyn's direct government client has an immediate need for a PeopleSoft Application Administrator / Architect in Albany, NY.

Description:
This position will provide the following PeopleSoft Application and Architect support:
? Research, Document and Guide the PeopleSoft Infrastructure design/layout based on PeopleSoft best practices for implementation on upgrade.
? Support Installation, configuration/application triage of the various software components of PeopleSoft (WebLogic, Tuxedo, Elasticsearch, Oracle database) for new Peoplesoft required environments with latest technology stack
? Provide technical directions to meet business needs
? Work with other agencies and technical support teams in pursuit of technically excellent solutions
? Produce technically excellent solutions architecture that is aligned to business needs and direction
? Research, resolve, and test configurations
? Provide Research, Analysis and PeopleSoft Application support for the current Legacy PeopleSoft Applications
? Support the proposed Peoplesoft upgrade project as required

Mandatory Qualification:
? Makes high-level design choices and dictates technical standards, including software coding standards, tools, and platforms. Designs multi-leveled architecture or component interactions of a large-scale software system.
? Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.

? 84 months experience in Oracle?s PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 or higher Administration, duties include troubleshooting installation, configuration, tuning, upgrade/patching, maintaining process scheduler, web domains, Application domains, monitor batch jobs and perform code migrations in a Unix environment.
? 84 Months experience utilizing PeopleSoft PeopleTools 8.5 or higher, including troubleshooting, installation, upgrading, patching, tuning/configuration.
? 60 Months experience with PeopleTools and PeopleSoft application upgrades utilizing PUM and Change Assistant tools.
? 60 Months experience with WebLogic and Tuxedo including troubleshooting, installation, configuration, upgrading, and high availability (HA).
? 36 Months experience SQL and Unix shell scripting, creating, modifying and debugging in any of the following Unix shells: bash, korn, bourne.
? 36 months experience in installation and configuration of Phire tool.
