Job Summary:
Coordinates and executes Epic electronic health records (EHR) and associated enterprise application systems training. Communicates and enforces training policies and procedures effectively. Completes the role analysis process to ensure staff members' and health care providers' training needs are identified and met. Assists with administering Epic-led virtual training sessions. Participates in (and may assist in leading) other operational readiness activities. Ensures training materials remain up-to-date and relevant for end users to accomplish their jobs effectively.

Education and Work Experience:
- Associate's/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Required
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred
- Five years' relevant experience: Preferred
Licenses/Certifications:
- Epic certification/accreditation in area of responsibility: Preferred
Essential Functions:
- Assists with communicating training registration and completion data. Ensures staff members are assigned appropriate Epic training tracks and registered for classes (e.g., including new hires, existing employees, and system upgrades). Assists with securing training rooms, workstations, printers, projectors, screens, barcode scanners, and other equipment needed for virtual Epic-led training and operational readiness activities requiring a computer laboratory.
- Assists with evaluating training programs' effectiveness via assessments, surveys, and feedback. Assists in making necessary adjustments to improve training outcomes. Executes additional organizational educational and communication plans.
- Collaborates with various department leaders to implement and evaluate training programs for new and established colleagues. Partners with various department leaders and subject matter experts (SME) to identify educational opportunities, priorities, and gaps; establishes goals and plans collaboratively to meet organizational goals and objectives. Collaborates with a team to create, organize, and maintain training documentation for EHR and supporting enterprise standard systems. Assists with gathering data and analyzing training programs' progress and results.
- Provides support and troubleshoots issues arising in the training environment. Assists with developing training environments and refresh schedules. Maintains a high-level of knowledge for all training aspects.
- Stays up to date with the latest Epic system updates, enhancements, best practices, and enterprise standard systems to ensure training materials and programs are current and relevant. Stays abreast of industry trends and advancements in EHR systems and training methodologies to enhance the training program continuously.
