Job Title: QuickBooks / Service Fusion Integration Consultant (Financial Data Mapping & Sync Troubleshooting)

Overview:

We are seeking a hands-on integration consultant to diagnose and remediate data synchronization issues between:

• Service Fusion
• QuickBooks

Service Fusion currently serves as the system of record for operations, while QuickBooks is used for financial reporting, accounting workflows, and P&L reporting.

The two systems are integrated today, but certain financial data elements are not syncing correctly or are being mapped incorrectly. The consultant will conduct a technical review of the integration, validate financial data mapping, and recommend or implement fixes to ensure accurate accounting visibility.

This is primarily a diagnostic and remediation engagement, not a full system implementation.

Responsibilities:

• Audit the current integration between Service Fusion and QuickBooks
• Review data mapping between operational workflows and financial accounts
• Identify causes of selective sync failures and reporting discrepancies
• Troubleshoot the following client-reported issues:
• Purchase order shipping costs not syncing to QuickBooks
• Sales tax reporting discrepancies between systems
• P&L category mapping inconsistencies
• Lack of visibility into how operational actions map to accounting entries
• Handling of accounting events such as bad debt write-offs
• Review chart-of-accounts mapping and financial reporting logic
• Analyze API or native integration configuration between systems
• Correct or recommend updates to integration mapping rules
• Validate financial reporting accuracy after fixes
• Document integration structure and recommended best practices

Required Experience:

• Hands-on experience integrating QuickBooks with operational systems or CRMs
• Experience troubleshooting financial data mapping and sync issues
• Strong understanding of:
• Chart of Accounts
• P&L reporting structures
• Accounts receivable/payable workflows
• Sales tax handling in accounting systems
• Experience with API integrations or native SaaS system connectors
• Ability to diagnose sync failures and financial reporting discrepancies

Preferred Experience:

• Direct experience with Service Fusion
• Experience integrating Field Service Management (FSM) platforms with accounting systems
• Experience troubleshooting QuickBooks Online integrations
• Experience working with operational systems that generate invoices, purchase orders, and payments
• Background supporting SMB accounting workflows
