Senior Front-Office Capital Markets Test Automation Engineer (NYC | Hybrid)

Test automation role with mandatory front-office fixed income capital markets experience
Front-office knowledge required to avoid pairing manual SMEs with automation and to accelerate refactoring
Products: swaps (all forms), CDS, swaptions, caps, floors
Understanding of sales & trading workflows, pre-trade flows, valuations, and XVA integrations
Responsibilities include scenario analysis, removing redundant/garbage tests, and consolidation
Strong automation engineering skills; Python preferred (Java acceptable)
Ability to dissect and refactor existing test frameworks and map tests to business value
UI automation using Playwright; Selenium and design pattern experience transferable
Page Object Model analysis and refactor into a Playwright-based framework
Experience with Murex, Sophis, CRD, Aladdin and venues MarketAxess, Tradeweb, CME, Fenics preferred
Senior-level role combining UI and API testing; works within existing CI/CD (Jenkins/GitLab)
Recent front-office capital markets testing experience required; retail/wealth testing backgrounds not suitable
Hybrid role: 2-3 days/week in New York office
