Genesis10 is currently seeking a Software Engineer-Remote for a 9-month contract role with our healthcare client in Eagan, MN. Compensation: $80.00 - $83.00 per hour W2, depending on skill and experience level. Summary: Purpose: The role, responsibilities, qualifications, and preferred experience for a Senior Data Engineer position focusing on data integration, technology solution ownership, and team leadership.
Role overview: The Senior Data Engineer acts as a liaison between IT Architects and Analysts, leading a team to design and develop data components, driving initiatives, conducting POCs, and integrating data solutions with expertise in RDBMS, Data Warehouse, and Data Lake concepts. They also ensure operational readiness.
Requirements: Key responsibilities: Responsibilities include developing and maintaining code, collaborating with business analysts, leading design and development of scalable data solutions, ensuring data quality and governance, mentoring other engineers, managing team direction, and driving innovation and continuous improvement. They need to build trust with product teams, stakeholders, and team members.
Additional qualifications: Candidates should have over five years of relevant experience including cloud software deployment, Agile and Design Thinking knowledge, strong problem-solving and communication skills, ETL/data movement certifications, and the ability to present technical material effectively. Experience with Java and Google Cloud Platform.
Desired Skills: Preferred qualifications: Experience in the PBM/healthcare industry, working with regulatory compliance such as HIPAA or PCI, Agile/Product Delivery environments, and certifications in cloud and data technologies are preferred.
