Summary

Description: *Hybrid. 2 days/week in office at 80 Park Plaza, Newark NJ | Thursdays and one day flex) but prefers the days in office to align with the manager''s schedule.

Job Title: HR Compliance & Workplace Accommodations Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced HR Compliance & Workplace Accommodations Specialist to support workplace accommodation programs and EEO/Affirmative Action compliance initiatives. This role will primarily focus on managing workplace accommodations while also supporting reporting, compliance audits, talent acquisition compliance, and workforce analytics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage workplace accommodation requests and the interactive process in compliance with ADA, PWFA, FMLA, and related laws.

  • Provide guidance and coaching to managers on accommodation and workplace compliance matters.

  • Support EEO, Affirmative Action, and OFCCP compliance activities.

  • Prepare and maintain compliance reports, workforce analytics, diversity metrics, and labor market data.

  • Audit and validate HR data from multiple systems for reporting and vendor submissions.

  • Partner with Talent Acquisition on hiring compliance and best practices.

  • Assist with compliance audits, reporting requirements, and external vendor coordination.

  • Support HR leadership with client-related compliance initiatives and projects.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Workplace Accommodations, Employee Relations, HR Compliance, or related HR functions.

  • Strong knowledge of ADA, workplace accommodations, PWFA, FMLA, PUMP Act, and applicable employment laws.

  • Experience managing the accommodation interactive process, including manager coaching and risk mitigation.

  • Strong analytical skills with experience in reporting, data analysis, and compliance metrics.

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs) and SAP experience.

  • Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with EEO, Affirmative Action, OFCCP, EEO-1, and VETS-4212 reporting.

  • Experience with SAP SuccessFactors and SharePoint.

  • Bachelor''s degree in HR, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
