Summary
Role: Identity Management Engineer
Duration: 6 months
- Hands-on PingIDM or ForgeRock IDM experience specifically, managed objects, sync mappings, custom connectors (not just PingFederate/PingAccess/PingOne, which are federation tools, not the IDM engine)
- Real coding examples in Groovy, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript/React, not just admin console configuration
- Git + CI/CD pipeline experience, with code moving through to production
- JML lifecycle work tied to an HR system specifically
- Any exposure to Non-Human Identity lifecycle (service accounts, API keys, machine identities)
- Engineer-first career language: "developed," "built," “wrote”. Not just "administered," "configured," "supported"
- Banking, insurance, or healthcare experience (nice to have, not required)
- Self-sufficient
- Curious and willing to read documentation
- Careful with production changes
- Takes ownership from development through deployment and support
- Communicates clearly and works well in a highly regulated enterprise
