We are seeking a highly skilled Integration and Automation Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Workato, ServiceNow, and RPA technologies. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and optimize endtoend business process automations, system integrations, and service workflows that improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability across enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

Workato & Integration Development

• 4 8 years of experience in integration, automation, or RPA roles
• Proven experience delivering enterprise-grade automation solutions
• Design, develop, and maintain Workato recipes for complex integrations and business process automations
• Build endtoend integrations between ServiceNow and enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, HR, Finance, cloud apps, APIs)
• Manage connectors, triggers, actions, error handling, retries, and monitoring within Workato
• Optimize recipes for performance, scalability, and reliability

ServiceNow Automation & Integration

• Develop and support integrations using ServiceNow REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server, and IntegrationHub (preferred)
• Automate ServiceNow workflows across modules such as:
  • ITSM (Incident, Problem, Change, Request)
  • CMDB
  • HRSD, CSM, or ITOM (good to have)
• Collaborate with ServiceNow administrators and platform teams to ensure seamless integration

RPA Automation

• Design and implement RPA solutions to automate manual, repetitive business processes
• Experience with RPA tools such as:
  • UiPath / Automation Anywhere / Blue Prism (any one is acceptable)
• Integrate RPA bots with Workato and ServiceNow where required
• Ensure automation stability, exception handling, and proper logging

Governance, Security & Best Practices

• Follow integration best practices including version control, documentation, and change management
• Implement authentication mechanisms (OAuth 2.0, API keys, token-based auth)
• Ensure data security and compliance across integrations
• Provide production support, root cause analysis, and enhancement recommendations

Collaboration & Documentation

• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand automation requirements
• Create technical design documents, integration flow diagrams, and SOPs
• Support UAT, deployments, and postproduction monitoring

Required Skills & Qualifications

Mandatory Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Workato (recipes, connectors, error handling, schedules)
• Solid experience with ServiceNow integrations and platform capabilities
• Strong RPA automation experience using industry-standard tools
• Proficiency in REST APIs, JSON, XML, HTTP methods
• Good understanding of business process automation and orchestration
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

Technical Skills

• API authentication: OAuth2, Basic Auth, token-based security
• Scripting knowledge (JavaScript preferred; Python good to have)
• Database and data transformation understanding
• Logging, alerting, and monitoring integrations

Good to Have

• ServiceNow IntegrationHub experience
• Workato certifications
• RPA certifications (UiPath, AA, Blue Prism)
• ITIL knowledge or certification
• Cloud platform exposure (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
