Job Overview
Client is seeking a senior, hands-on Healthcare SME / Business Analyst to lead a onsite discovery engagement for a U.S. healthcare organization operating approximately 100 facilities.
The consultant will work closely with software architects and client stakeholders to assess back-office and operational processes, identify opportunities for automation and technology-enabled transformation, and define/validate practical solution concepts.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct stakeholder interviews across business, operational, clinical-administrative, finance, and technology functions.
- Analyze and document current-state processes, systems, data flows, handoffs, pain points, controls, staffing, and third-party dependencies.
- Identify opportunities for process redesign, automation, AI, integration, and vendor consolidation.
- Quantify opportunities using transaction volumes, staffing effort, error/rework rates, cycle times, vendor costs, etc.
- Prioritize use cases based on business value, feasibility, implementation effort, risk, and time to benefit.
- Translate business needs into workflows, requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and high-level solution concepts.
- Work with software architects on proof-of-concept activities.
- Present findings and recommendations to operational leaders and executives.
- Create a discovery report and phased transformation roadmap, including business cases.
Required / Desired Experience
- 8+ years in U.S. healthcare operations, Business Analysis, Product Management, Consulting, or Digital Transformation.
- Strong experience with multi-site healthcare/provider/facility operations.
- Experience in areas such as:
- Post-Acute Care
- Skilled Nursing
- Senior Living
- Behavioral Health
- Ambulatory Care
- Healthcare administrative functions including:

- Eligibility & Benefits Verification
