Description
We are looking for an experienced UAT Tester with over six years of expertise to join our team in Wilmington, Delaware. In this long-term contract role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality and functionality of applications by conducting thorough user acceptance testing. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of testing methodologies and tools.
Responsibilities:
Conduct user acceptance testing to ensure applications meet business requirements and function as intended.
Develop, revise, and maintain detailed test cases for all relevant applications.
Execute test plans and document results, including any defects or issues identified during testing.
Collaborate closely with stakeholders to clarify requirements and provide updates on testing progress.
Analyze and reconcile test results across various testing scenarios and teams.
Implement process improvements and incorporate advanced tools to enhance testing efficiency.
Partner with team leads and managers to ensure testing readiness and milestone completion.
Facilitate quality testing practices to support the development and deployment of products.
Utilize tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and qTest to manage testing activities and documentation.
Ensure testing artifacts are properly updated and stored for future reference.
Requirements
Minimum of six years of experience in user acceptance testing and quality assurance.
Strong analytical skills to assess business requirements and testing outcomes.
Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and qTest.
Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and meet project deadlines.
Excellent communication skills for collaborating with stakeholders and team members.
Knowledge of FileNet and other relevant systems.
Familiarity with AWS and innovation tools such as LLM.
Experience in defect management and documenting detailed test results.
