RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Testing Analyst to support a secure payments initiative focused on behavioral analytics and fraud detection. This role will play a key part in validating both API and user interface functionality, ensuring high-quality delivery across a complex, data-driven platform.
Key Responsibilities:
* Analyze business and technical requirements to develop effective test strategies and test cases
* Design, execute, and maintain manual and API test cases across multiple systems
* Perform API testing using tools such as Postman or similar platforms
* Conduct user interface (UI) testing to validate end-user workflows and functionality
* Identify, document, and manage defects using tools such as JIRA
* Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to resolve issues
* Support end-to-end testing efforts across secure payment and fraud detection systems
* Query and validate data using SQL Server
* Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and testing methodologies
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree required
* 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance/Software Testing
* Solid analytical and critical thinking skills
* Hands-on experience querying databases (SQL Server)
Strong experience with:
* API testing (Postman or similar tools)
* UI testing
* Requirements analysis and test design
* Test execution and defect management
* Atlassian JIRA
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience working in payments or financial services environments
* Exposure to secure payment systems or fraud/behavioral analytics tools
* Familiarity with QA metrics and reporting
* Experience with qTest or similar test management tools
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
