Job Description

We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Developer with a valid SAP S/4HANA certification to join a leading pharmaceutical client in Bridgewater, NJ. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA development, ABAP on HANA, CDS Views, OData services, and Fiori integration, with experience supporting pharmaceutical or life sciences environments.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of SAP ABAP development experience.
• SAP S/4HANA Certified (Certification is mandatory).
• Strong experience with ABAP on HANA.
• Expertise in:
• Core ABAP (Reports, Interfaces, Enhancements, Forms, Conversions)
• CDS Views
• AMDP
• OData Services
• SAP Gateway
• SAP Fiori integration
• BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, Enhancement Framework
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA data models and custom development.
• Strong debugging and performance tuning skills.
• Experience with SAP transports and release management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the Pharmaceutical/Life Sciences domain.
• Knowledge of SAP Fiori/UI5 development.
• Experience integrating SAP with third-party applications using REST/SOAP APIs.
• Familiarity with SAP BTP and RAP (RESTful Application Programming Model) is a plus.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and support SAP S/4HANA applications.
• Design and develop custom ABAP solutions using HANA-optimized techniques.
• Build and maintain CDS Views, OData services, and Fiori-enabled applications.
• Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Perform code reviews, unit testing, and performance optimization.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Support system upgrades, migrations, and SAP S/4HANA implementations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Active SAP S/4HANA Certification (Mandatory).
• Experience working with pharmaceutical or regulated industry clients is highly preferred.
