Job DescriptionPosition Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Systems Administrator to support enterprise cloud infrastructure across Azure and AWS environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, automating, securing, and optimizing cloud-based systems while enabling cross-functional initiatives in cloud migration, DevOps, and modern application integration. This role requires strong expertise in cloud architecture, automation, security, and hybrid infrastructure management.
Key Responsibilities
- Support cross-functional cloud migration and infrastructure automation initiatives across Microsoft Azure and AWS platforms.
- Design, implement, and maintain high-availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) architectures across multi-region cloud environments.
- Deploy and integrate Azure OpenAI, ChatGPT, Azure Bot Services, and Azure Cognitive Search into enterprise applications.
- Build and manage Azure Function Apps and Azure API Management (APIM) for scalable microservices and API-driven architectures.
- Develop, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, including automated deployments, release pipelines, and backlog tracking.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using ARM templates, Terraform, Ansible, Chef, and Jenkins.
- Automate cloud provisioning, configuration, and environment setup using PowerShell scripting and IaC frameworks.
- Manage Azure Active Directory (AAD) integrations including Azure AD Connect, RBAC policies, and SSO integration with Okta.
- Support and optimize Azure Databricks environments for analytics and large-scale data processing workloads.
- Configure and maintain DNS, domain services, and hybrid networking between on-premises and cloud environments.
- Implement cloud security best practices using Azure Firewall, Application Gateway, and Azure Front Door.
- Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability using Azure Monitor and Application Insights, ensuring proactive issue detection and resolution.
- Manage and support API integrations with third-party platforms and enhance API lifecycle management using Azure services.
- Lead incident response activities, conduct post-incident reviews, and perform root cause analysis (RCA) to improve system reliability and resilience.
QualificationsPreferred Skills & Experience
- 5-7 years strong experience with Azure and AWS cloud platforms
- Hands-on expertise in DevOps practices and CI/CD automation
- Solid understanding of cloud security, identity management, and networking
- Experience with IaC tools and automation frameworks
- Familiarity with AI/ML services in Azure ecosystem
- Strong troubleshooting and incident management skills
