Summary

Title: Product Due Diligence & Risk Approval Lead support
Location: Chicago, IL / San Francisco, CA / NYC, NY / Jesrsey City, NJ
 
  • We are seeking a VP, Product Due Diligence & Risk Approval Lead to support execution and governance of product due diligence and risk approval processes for new and enhanced product launches. 
  • The role is responsible for driving disciplined execution of approval workflows and ensuring closure of all pre-go-live conditions. 
  • The candidate will coordinate across Product, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Technology, and Operations teams to ensure launch readiness. 
  • This position involves tracking approvals, dependencies, action items, and closure evidence through structured governance processes. 
  • The role will manage working sessions, governance checkpoints, decision logs, RAID logs, and approval dashboards.
  •  The candidate will ensure due diligence documentation is complete, accurate, and review-ready as per process standards. 
  • A strong focus on pre-go-live condition tracking, evidence validation, and approval attestation management is essential. 
  • The individual will proactively identify risks, escalate blockers, and support timely decision-making. 
  • The role requires preparing executive-level status updates, escalation materials, and concise progress reporting. 
  • Candidates should have strong expertise in cross-functional program execution and governance management. 
  • Experience in product approval, launch readiness, and risk/control processes within regulated environments is highly preferred. 
  • Proficiency in project tracking tools such as Jira and Confluence is desirable. 
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and organizational discipline are critical for success. 
  • Coordinate end-to-end due diligence and risk approval activities across cross-functional teams. 
  • Track and drive closure of pre-go-live conditions, approvals, evidence collection, and validations. 
  • Maintain governance artifacts including workplans, RAID logs, decision logs, and approval dashboards. 
  • Facilitate working sessions, status reviews, and escalation discussions with stakeholders. 
  • Prepare executive-level reporting on risks, conditions progress, milestones, and approvals.
  • Product governance and risk approval workflow tools. 
  • Jira and Confluence, Risk, issue, and dependency tracking frameworks, Governance dashboard and reporting tools, 
  • Documentation and evidence management systems, Workflow/process management tools, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint for reporting and executive updates, Compliance and control process management systems.
