Program Leader - Executive (Non-Tech)

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Program Leader to manage a diverse portfolio of projects. This role offers the opportunity to provide strategic leadership and drive impactful initiatives within a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the delivery of a portfolio of projects, ensuring effective governance and resource management.
• Engage with key stakeholders to optimize project execution and align with organizational objectives.
• Provide vision and leadership to project teams, guiding complex cross-organizational initiatives.
• Define and communicate program goals, metrics, and objectives to ensure clarity across teams.
• Facilitate negotiations with managers to initiate or continue programs based on performance and resources.
• Monitor program performance and implement corrective actions to maintain budget and schedule.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive work plans, outlining dependencies, risks, and progress.
• Conduct briefings and updates for executive sponsors and steering committees to resolve issues.
• Build and sustain relationships with stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes.
• Promote adherence to policies and procedures within the Project Management Office (PMO).

Skills

• 7-10 years of experience in program management with a proven track record of leading complex projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make objective decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing at all organizational levels.
• Self-directed with a strong leadership presence and the ability to motivate teams.
• Solid understanding of Project, Program, and Portfolio Management methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with project management tools, such as OnePlan, is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to navigate and drive results in ambiguous or rapidly changing environments.
• Outstanding presentation and facilitation skills, with a focus on stakeholder engagement.
• Proven capability in change management and mentoring others in project management practices.
