Job Description
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
- Ensure 24x7 availability of enterprise network services.
- Oversee LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, Internet, VPN, and data center network operations.
- Manage incidents, problems, and change management processes.
- Act as the executive escalation point for P1/P2 incidents issue
- Define and execute the global network roadmap aligned with business objectives.
- Lead network transformation initiatives include cloud, SD-WAN, and Zero Trust networking.
- Establish network standards, policies, and best practices across all regions.
- Drive continuous improvement and modernization of network infrastructure.
- Good understanding on SDWAN routing switching, ACI fabric, Wi-Fi firewall, Zscaler MFA and cloud network (AWS and Azure)
- Lead and mentor global network engineering and operations teams.
- Define KPIs, SLAs, and operational metrics.
- Conduct performance reviews and succession planning.
- Drive knowledge management and technical skill development.
- Lead network integration activities for mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.
- Coordinate cross-functional initiatives involving infrastructure, security, cloud, and application teams.
- Ensure proactive problem management and root cause analysis.
- Deliver regular executive reports and service reviews.
Roles & Responsibilities
The Global Network Lead is responsible for the strategy, design, implementation, operation, security, and governance of the organization's global network infrastructure. This role provides technical leadership for enterprise networking, ensures high availability and performance across data centers, cloud environments, and offices across all regions, and leads a team of network engineers and service providers coordinations.
