Job Title: PeopleSoft Administrator
Contract Length: 18+ months
Location: CHARLOTTE, NC 28262
Hybrid (3 days/week onsite)

Seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Administrator with a strong foundation in PeopleSoft administration and Oracle database environments. This role supports platform administration, system performance optimization, deployment activities, infrastructure support, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Required Qualifications

PeopleSoft Administration


  • 5+ years of PeopleSoft Administration experience
  • Strong knowledge of PeopleTools Product Upgrades
  • Experience applying patches for products such as Tuxedo and WebLogic
  • Experience with:

    • PeopleSoft App Designer
    • Change Assistant
    • Data Mover

  • Experience setting up migration and upgrade tasks in Change Assistant
  • Experience performing code migrations for PeopleSoft projects
  • Strong understanding of PeopleSoft architecture
  • Understanding of database structures and relationships between data entities

Oracle Database & Performance


  • Working knowledge of Oracle database environments supporting PeopleSoft
  • Ability to analyze database structures
  • Experience identifying and implementing performance improvements
  • Experience supporting reporting and dashboard optimization

Infrastructure & DevOps


  • Linux experience
  • Ability to write shell scripts
  • Understanding of load balancing concepts
  • Understanding of datacenter resiliency
  • Experience with business continuity planning and execution
  • Experience handling SSL certificates and certificate renewals
  • Experience with reliability monitoring

Tools & Automation


  • Working knowledge of Git/GitHub
  • Working knowledge of Jenkins or similar pipeline tools
  • Experience with Jira
  • Experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems
  • Experience with CI/CD concepts

Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience with uDeploy
  • Knowledge of Liquibase
  • Experience with GitHub Actions
  • Experience with load balancers such as F5 or AVI
  • Experience investigating infrastructure defects using monitoring tools such as AppDynamics and Grafana
  • Experience creating alerts using monitoring tools such as BigPanda and Grafana
  • Experience working in Windows environments
  • Experience triaging L1/L2 support tickets and managing outages

Responsibilities


  • Support and administer PeopleSoft environments
  • Perform migrations, upgrades, and patching activities
  • Analyze system and database performance and implement optimization improvements
  • Support deployment and release activities
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues
  • Work with platform support teams to share knowledge and improve team capabilities
  • Address load balancing and resiliency concerns
  • Support production releases and deployment activities
  • Transition into release and deployment ownership over time
  • Participate in knowledge transfer and onboarding activities
