Position Title: Senior DevOps Role Position Location: India - Remote / Hybrid Preference is for someone near a Pellera office but we'll consider a remote employee.*****STRONG ENGLISH COMMUNICATION SKILLS A MUST**********THIS INDIVIDUAL WILL WORK US HOURS, 5 PM-2:30 AM, M-F*****Job Summary: Pellera Technologies is seeking an experienced DevOps Consultant to design, automate, and optimize cloud-native infrastructure across Azure and AWS environments. This role will drive modern DevOps practices, lead automation initiatives, and support clients in building resilient, scalable, and secure platforms. The ideal candidate is a hands?on engineer with deep cloud expertise, strong Infrastructure?as?Code skills, and production experience with containers, CI/CD, and modern observability stacks. You will serve as a trusted advisor to clients while guiding junior engineers and championing DevOps excellence.
Responsibilities: - Design & manage Azure / AWS infrastructure using Terraform (IaC)
- Build, operate, and support enterprise Container platforms using Kubernetes and Red Hat OpenShift.
- Automate provisioning, configuration, and application delivery using Red Hat Ansible & Ansible Automation Platform.
- Architect, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines across GitLab, Azure DevOps, Bitbucket.
- Ensure platform reliability, security hardening, scalability design, and ongoing cost optimization.
- Troubleshoot complex distributed system issues across networking, compute, containers, and cloud services.
- Implement monitoring, observability, and logging using tools such as Datadog, Splunk, Dynatrace, ELK, Prometheus, or Grafana.
- Develop automation scripts using Bash or Python to streamline deployment and operational processes.
- Collaborate directly with customers to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to DevOps best?practice frameworks, standards, and playbooks.

Education and Experience: - BA/BS degree or equivalent experience required.
- At least 6+ years hands-on experience with Azure & AWS cloud platforms. Candidate must have solid experience in both platforms.
- At least 4+ years hands-on experience in Terraform multi-cloud infrastructure automation. Candidate must have solid Terraform experience relative to both Azure and AWS.
- At least 5+ years experience installing, managing and troubleshooting Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes clusters. Candidate must have very strong Kubernetes experience.
- Proven ability building automation with Ansible / Ansible Automation Platform.
- Strong Linux engineering background (RHEL preferred).
- Production experience with containers, microservices, and orchestration platforms.
- Demonstrated, hands-on experience with modern CI/CD platforms (AzureDevOps, GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, Jenkins).
- Practical experience implementing monitoring and logging solutions (Datadog, Splunk, Dynatrace, ELK/EFK, Prometheus, Grafana).
- Proficiency writing automation in Bash or Python.
- Relevant certifications highly preferred:
- Cloud: Azure Administrator/Architect, AWS Solutions Architect, etc.
- Red Hat: RHCSA, RHCE, OpenShift Administrator or similar.
Physical Requirements: - Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
