Summary

We are hiring a Mainframe Developer with strong batch processing experience for Capital One (CTS).
Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid 3 days onsite).
Develop and maintain batch applications using COBOL, JCL, DB2, and VSAM.
Design, execute, and optimize high-volume batch processing workflows.
Handle job scheduling and automation using tools like Control-M or CA7.
Troubleshoot batch failures, performance issues, and data inconsistencies.
Work closely with business analysts and QA teams to deliver reliable solutions.
Support production releases, monitoring, and incident resolution.
Experience in banking/financial domain is highly preferred.
Strong problem-solving, debugging skills, and Agile experience required.
