Designation: Senior Software Engineer

Location: Spring TX Hybrid

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated 3LS Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in resolving complex and critical issues that escalate from Level 1 and Level 2 support. This role requires a collaborative approach, working with cross-functional teams, including development, QA, and vendors, to provide sustainable solutions and conduct root cause analysis. A strong work ethic, ownership, and the ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure are essential attributes for success in this position.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to enterprise hardware and software ecosystems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement sustainable solutions and perform root cause analysis.
  • Provide technical support for Android and MacOS/iOS platforms, ensuring effective troubleshooting and resolution of issues.
  • Utilize debugging tools and techniques to analyze system performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain scripts for automation, log analysis, and validation tasks using PowerShell or Python.
  • Communicate technical information clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Manage high-pressure escalations with reliability and accountability.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Proficiency in Android and MacOS / iOS Troubleshooting.
  • Strong Analytical Skills to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Experience with debugging tools such as Wireshark and Windows Performance Analyzer (WPA).
  • Proficiency in PowerShell Scripting language or Python.
  • Excellent oral communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated work ethic and ownership in managing escalated issues.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with Windows internals, including services, registry, and Event Viewer.
  • Experience with hardware troubleshooting for notebooks, desktops, workstations, and peripherals.
  • Knowledge of driver and firmware operations, validation, and update processes.
  • Understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and Wi-Fi troubleshooting.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Windows Client/Server, CompTIA A+, or equivalent are a plus.
  • Experience in enterprise-level technical support, system administration, or a similar role.
  • Proven ability to support enterprise hardware/software ecosystems in a fast-paced environment.
